What email accounts does HulloMail™ support?
HulloMail™ supports any email account. With GMail
or any IMAP4 mail account you can activate HulloMail™
Sync, which magically ensures your message status
is always in sync. |
|
What is the HulloMail™ Sync feature?
GMail, MobileMe and in general any IMAP4 email
account providers will support HulloMail™ Sync.
This means the read and listened status of your
HulloMail™s can always be in sync no matter how
youve accessed and managed them - as we
say in the UK "How bad is that!?".
You can activate HulloMail™
Sync under settings. HulloMail™ Sync
requires you enter your username (which is usually
your email address) and password. You will also
need to ensure you have sufficient storage quota
to have voicemails.
Please note that if you any time change your
email account password you will need to update
your HulloMail™ profile with the new details. |
I have activated HulloMail™ Sync, where are my
messages?
GMail -> They are in the inbox and under a
label "HulloMail™".
Other emails accounts -> They are in a folder
called "HulloMail™". |
What if my email account does not support HulloMail™
Sync?
No problem!
Relax. Although the Sync feature is mindbogglingly
brilliant, dont worry, you can still use
our visual voice-email app and a copy is sent
to your inbox. It does mean you don't have status
sync but it's still a more flexible and user friendly
service than you are used to...we hope...via the
web. |
HulloMail™ is dependent on my email account details,
what do I do if I change any of my email details?
If you change any of your email details, the address
and/or password, please ensure you update your
HulloMail™ details in the Android app under Settings
-> Email. |
How big are HulloMail™s?
An average 30 second voicemail will be about 125KB
in size. So with GMail's 6GB storage, you should
be able to keep every voicemail you get for the
rest of your life without having to worry at all. |
Can I call HulloMail™?
Yes you can listen to your messages.
Dial 1 202 747 6290
from any phone.
Outside of the USA dial +1
202 747 6290 - you may be prompted for your
cell number and pin. |
What is the call forwarding number for HulloMail™?
We'll set up call forwarding during signup in
the android app.
But for your reference the number is: 1
202 747 6280 |
Where do I find my HulloMail™ PIN?
You will find your PIN in your welcome email.
Your PIN number is a four digit number that
is only required if you need to call HulloMail™
to listen to your messages and we do not recognize
you. This will happen If you use an unregistered
phone to call in or sometimes when calling from
abroad and you will be asked for both your registered
cell number and pin to enter the service. |
I am going abroad how can I use HulloMail™ to minimize
my roaming charges?
With HulloMail™ you can minimize and even eliminate
roaming costs and you still get the message wherever
you are. With HulloMail™ you have three approaches:
1. Keep your mobile phone off and check your
email.
2. Switching off your phone might be impractical.
What you can also do, is set HulloMail™ to answer
ALL your voice calls unconditionally. NOTE doing
this will mean your phone will not even ring
as all callers will get diverted directly to
HulloMail™.
Your activation codes can be found in your
welcome email. |
How does the HulloMail™ call forwarding work?
HulloMail™ call forwarding is activated as a conditional
forwarding. HulloMail™ will answer all incoming
calls if you are not available (phone off/out
of coverage), busy (engaged) or you simply don't
answer. Your activation code, which is preceded
by **004* can be found in your welcome email.
However, if you really want to be flash and
are comfortable with USSD codes you can also
toggle HulloMail™ as unconditional forwarding.
In this case HulloMail™ will answer all incoming
calls directly, regardless of what your handset
is doing at the time.
or HulloMail™ to answer all your voice calls:
* Set divert all: **21*12027476280#
(call/dial).
Remember to re-set HulloMail™ when you are back
in the USA by dialing the following codes:
* Clear divert all: #21#
(call/dial).
* Set conditional divert: **004*12027476280#
(call). |
