What is HulloMail™?
A HulloMail™ is a voicemail thats yours to
keep.
If you have a UK mobile phone contract with O2,
Vodafone, TMobile, Orange, Virgin, 3, you use
the web and have an email address then HulloMail™
is for you!
HulloMail™ is a service mashup of mobile voicemail
the web and email. It plugs into the network and
takes your voicemails and as well as giving you
the access you're used to, it delivers them to
your inbox, so you can save them forever and pass
them on to your friends and family. |
Does HulloMail™ also have the same features as
my current voicemail?
Yes! HulloMail™ has all the features you are already
used to from a voicemail service. When you get
a new message you get notified by text (SMS) or
email and you can call HulloMail™ to listen to
the voicemail.
But HulloMail™ is so much more. For a start its
in your email, so you can listen to it from there
too....forward it...download it....keep it forever |
What email accounts does HulloMail™ support?
HulloMail™ supports any email account. With providers
such as GoogleMail and MobileMe you can activate
HulloMail™ Sync, which magically ensures your message
status is always in sync. |
Where are my HulloMail™s? (...in GoogleMail)
They are in the inbox. If you activate HulloMail™
Sync they will also appear under a label HulloMail™.

Where are my HulloMail™s? (...for all other emails
accounts)
HulloMail™s are delivered to your email inbox with
a copy residing on HulloMail™.com allowing you
to call and listen to them from any phone.
If you activate HulloMail™ Sync they are found
in a folder HulloMail™. |
How do I know I've got a voicemail?
By default HulloMail™ will send you a text.
The text will hold information of the caller,
if they are in your contacts you will see it as
a text from them saying they left you a voicemail.
The text also includes the number to call to listen
to the voicemail.
If you have push email on your phone, please
de-select text notification in your settings
as it saves us money and helps us keep the service
free for you.

Is HulloMail™ secure?
In a word, Yes.
Access to the HulloMail™ web portal is protected
by a high-grade 256bit SSL certificate that fully
encrypts all communication between your internet
browser and the HulloMail™ service.
If HulloMail™ sync is enabled, we will always connect
using IMAP(s), port 993 whereever possible. This
means that communication between HulloMail™ and
your email account is fully encrypted.

The mobile app is not remembering who I am?
After installation we've received reports that
credentials are not being remembered by the mobile
app.
To fix re-start the phone. |

How can I record a Custom Greeting?
Call HulloMail™ and press five and follow
the instructions.
In the mobile app under Settings ->
Greeting and follow the onscreen instructions

How can I access my HulloMail™s?
You can call and listen, you can play them via
your mobile email client, you can play them through
your PC email, and you can play them in your web
email client. We will also be providing optimized
web and client user interfaces. |
What is a HulloMail™ new voicemail notification?
When you receive a new voicemail you can receive
a notification via text (SMS) and/or email. |
What is a HulloMail™ missed call notification?
If a caller hangs up before leaving you a message
you will receive a HulloMail™ missed call notification.
This is a configurable option, which you an changed
via your notification settings.
This can be very useful if you received a call
while out of coverage or if your phone is switched
off. HulloMail™ tells you who called if they did
not leave a message. |
What email accounts does HulloMail™ support?
HulloMail™ supports any email account. With providers
such as GoogleMail and MobileMe you can activate
HulloMail™ Sync, which ensures your message status
is always in sync |
How big are HulloMail™s?
An average 30 second voicemail will be about 125KB
in size. So with GoogleMail's 6GB storage, you
should be able to keep every voicemail you get
for the rest of your life without having to worry
at all. |
Is HulloMail™ free?
Essentially yes, we do not charge you to register
or use the service. Your network operator may
however charge you a similar amount that they
do to use their own service, just without the
features
of HulloMail™ see

advertising, enterprise focused offerings and
premium features but these are works in progress. |
Can I use HulloMail™ with Pay As You Go?
We'd love to be able to provide it to you, but
your network operator won't let you divert your
voicemail to us. You might want to drop them a
mail about it.... |
Will my mobile operator charge me for using HulloMail™?
HulloMail™ is configured on the public telephone
network to minimise any charges from your mobile
operator.
When you are in the UK, calls made to you that
are diverted to HulloMail™ and calls you make
to HulloMail™ should be covered within your monthly
minute allowance package, but please confirm
this with your mobile operator. If you keep
within your general minute allowance you should
not see any additional charges. If you exceed
your minute allowance then charges are according
to your plan. See

If you download and play a message via your
mobile email client or mobile web you may receive
a data charge if youve exceeded your data
allowance.
When roaming abroad we recommend retrieving
messages online whenever you can.
